Harper Adams University, founded in 1901 as Harper Adams College, is a public university located close to the village of Edgmond, near Newport, in Shropshire, the University is a specialist provider of higher education for the agricultural and rural sector.
The university provides more than 50 foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes to students from over 30 countries.
The university is set within a 550 hectare (1360) acre working farm. The Campus incorporates ornamental lawns, trees, shrubberies, hedges and bedding areas, sports pitches and glasshouses.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Horticultural / Grounds Maintenance Apprentices to join our Grounds Team. The position will be starting in March 2022.
This a great opportunity to be part of a friendly and experienced grounds maintenance team who form an integral part of Harpers daily operation. The post-holder will be required to assist with the general upkeep of the University's extensive grounds and sporting pitches. The post-holder will be supported to work towards a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Horticluture in partnership with County Training.
