This is a fantastic opportunity to enter the insurance sector and build a successful career. The outline of the role will be to setup new motor insurance claims on the system and the accurate and timely resolution of motor claims telephone enquiries.
The key responsibilties of the role are outlined below:
• Setting claim up on Landscape from notifications sent via FNOL provider
• Validating policies/checking indemnity
• Calling clients to gain further information when needed
• Instructing various suppliers to assist in dealing with claims
• Answer the telephone within agreed service standards
• Answer the call with the recognised KCASL salutation and identification
• Ensure that the DPA rules are followed
• Deal with the call within your level of expertise
• Seek help if you are unsure of your facts
• Pass call to a senior member of staff if it becomes a complaint
• Log calls on memo screen with sufficient information for others to follow
• Deal with post items as required
• Ensure any actions/promises are followed through
• Ensure caller understands what KCASL or they need to do next
• Ensure the caller has the correct details for further contact should it be necessary
• Payment of fees bordereaux
• The Job holder will do all tasks requested within his/her level of skill and ability
You will work towards the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, which includes the Certificate in Insurance (CII)
The programme will consist of the following:
Progression would be Claims Advisor, AD Handler, TPPD Negotiator and then there may be the opportunity to move onto Technical Claims Negotiator (small Bodily Injury Claims Team) or Claims Investigator (Counter Fraud Team)
