Boxwell Chartered Accountants are looking to hire an Accounts Assistant for their team based in Chester. Get experience, AAT qualifications and a chance to learn from skilled colleagues as you start your journey into a Finance career. You will be providing bookkeeping services, preparation of VAT returns, plus much more.
As an apprentice accountant you will work as part of a team assisting with clients’ accounting needs. This position involves a number of different aspects including:
Assignments will be undertaken both in the office and at client’s premises. Apprentices will have support and on the job training from managers and other senior staff.
During your training you will be expected to develop an understanding of the practical issues involved in delivering a high-quality service to clients.
Both practical and theoretical training will be undertaken, with an aim to becoming a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). This will involve once per week training at The Apprentice Academy, learning from industry experienced tutors, with a goal of completing your AAT qualifications up to level 4.
