This is an exciting opportunity to complete an Accounts Level 2 AAT Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will be involved in a team environment, assisting in accounts preparation as well as other accounting duties. You will have access to and use of a range of software, for which full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will have a real hunger to succeed in Finance. The role is varied, offering you the opportunity to work across all areas of accounts, whilst allowing you to develop a wide range of skills.

What will the Accounts Assistant Apprentice duties be?

Sales invoice processing for customers as supplied by processing office
Administration of client records
Assisting in accounts preparation
Administration of sales ledger, if required
Ensuring that the policies of John Fredericks are observed, and that good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of health & safety, equal opportunities, and confidentiality

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the Head of Accounts, which are relevant to your post within the company, to meet the overall business objectives.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Accounts/Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 2 AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting
End-Point Assessment (EPA)

Things to consider

Applicants who already hold a Level 2 AAT qualification may also be considered for this role and would therefore work towards Level 3 AAT. Please ensure you can travel to the workplace on a daily basis.
