Hardy & Company are looking for an individual with a positive attitude to join their Accountancy practice based in Hyde. This is a great opportunity for an Apprentice Accountant to earn while they learn and get the skills and knowledge, they need to become a skilled accountant. AAT Qualifications included. Accounts preparation, assisting on auditing.

Working in a dynamic office environment, you will have a number of key duties/responsibilities as an apprentice accountant. These include:

Bookkeeping responsibilities
VAT returns
Bank reconciliation
Accounts preparation
Assisting on auditing
Payroll assistance
General office and administration duties
Sales/purchase ledger
Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks to support other members of the team

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Alongside your job duties, you will also study towards the AAT Level 2 (if required), level 3 and level 4 qualifications, covering various aspects to become a competent accountant.

Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard, which include:

Level 2 AAT qualification (if required)
Level 3 AAT qualification
Functional skills in English, maths, and ICT (if applicable)
End-Point Assessment (EPA)
Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
Progression to AAT level 4
