Apprentice Administrator

We are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual to support the Office Manager and Sales Team that supply electric motor, industrial gearboxes and conveyor drives to machine builders, after market supply companies and end users. This role is based in Barrow Upon Soar, Loughborough and offers future career progression/training.

Main Duties:

• Answering and making telephone calls
• Data inputting using Excel
• Sending emails to customer and suppliers
• Sales order processing using Sage
• Preparing items for post – customer invoices, mailshots, brochures etc.
• Preparing and sending Eshots – leaflets to customer, brochures etc.
• Any other general office duties to assist the running of the company

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Qualification:

• Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard in Business Administrator

Delivery Method:

• 14 sessions delivered at Loughborough (Thurs AM)
• Online portfolio to update with learning and development completed onsite
• Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Future training:

• Continuously build and develop product knowledge to be able to help a variety of customers
• The use of sales price lists
• Supplier cost lists 

Future prospects:

• Full-time position for the right candidate and salary to match experience
• Move to Sales Office Administrator or move to an Internal Sale Engineer Position
