As an apprentice care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the home. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards service users, relatives, visitors and other members of staff.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Dovehaven will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
If successful, you will complete a Level 2 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship programme, delivered through Dovehaven’s dedicated training provider, Realise. If successful, you will receive a level 2 Diploma in Care, plus maths and English Functional Skills if required.
