We are a dynamic small company, undertaking repeat business for the top 20 UK construction companies. The specialist piling industry is an excellent blend of structural and geotechnical aspects. To compliment course study, we have vast experience to share in developing a career in the industry.

• Reviewing site investigations, understanding site geotechnics and determining a suitable design solution
• Reviewing the site structural requirements and determining a suitable strucural design solution
• Site visits, preparation of designed offers, pre contract meetings and negotiation of piling projects with major construction companys

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Civil engineer (degree) Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard
• Functional Skills in maths and English, if required 
• Day release to obtain a civil engineering degree
• Based in Rochdale, with construction site visits
• Vast experience in house to be shared, in develeoping a career in the specialist piling industry

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• Continual gaining of experience and knowledge of the piling industry, leading to status and continued reward to management level
• Option to change role to design or contracts
• Chartership available on completion of degree
