Chartered Accountants Haines Watts are looking to hire an Audit and Assurance Apprentice to join their team based in Manchester City Centre. Studying towards AAT qualifications, you will receive a great starting salary and set of benefits, making it a brilliant opportunity.

In this role, you will work with the Haines Watts team and clients to provide support with year-end accounts and audit through Cloud based technology – at clients premises, working from home or in the office. Overview of duties:

Carrying out analytics/controls/substantive audit testing using a mix of Cloud, AI and traditional techniques in relation to statutory and non-statutory audits as part of a team based offsite at client premises/working from home/working from the office as required
Attending client stock takes under supervision and by yourself
Preparing analyses and making postings using the firm’s accounting software to produce draft financial statements in statutory format
Progressing through the audit team as experience is gained will increase exposure to project management

The audit role is offering a competitive salary and combines work experience with getting a professional qualification. Fully paid study support will take you to completion of your AAT Level 4 Diploma in Accounting, with progression to ACA anticipated.
