You will work closely with the Head of Sales and learn a variety of sales skills, customer analysis and perspective needed to thrive in this role. The candidate, if successful, will use Social Media, Emails and Telephone calls to find potential customers and upsell to existing customers.
The candidate will manage a business presence on a number of social media platforms. The candidate will receive training from experienced managers with a combined 45 years of sales, marketing and graphic design experience.
Following a successfully completed apprenticeship there is huge scope for promotion, in an ideal situation the apprentice will continue with the company and longer term supervise the social media team. With premises expanse planned within the next few years the sales department plans to grow exponentially.
The role requires initiative and creativity to consider new markets and opportunities for the business. The candidate will learn to use our custom web solution and CRM system to fully communicate with our customer base.
As we are a small business having multi-skilled staff is crucial, during our peak season of August 1st to December 20th it is required that all office staff work in production as well. No operation of specialised equipment is required you would simply be required to help with boxing, binding, maintaining the warehouse and booking in post.
Candidate must constantly be up to date with social trends and take initiatives in finding new and alternative ways to market our products. Candidate must have a good phone manner and be comfortable with speaking to current and potential customers. You must be organised and look to go above and beyond for the business.
Duties will include but not limted to:
You will attend 1 day a week at South Devon College to study the theory side of your apprenticeship, in house training will also be provided by qualified staff.
Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will recieve a Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Diploma.
