The company organise and manage a range of popular and highly successful events such as The Cheese and Chilli Festival and the Weymouth Food Festival. Your job will be to help in the planning and delivery of these events.
To work alongside the event organiser to learn and be involved with every element of the event planning process from conception to operation. This could include:
The events operate through a busy summer period with the autumn, winter and spring periods used for creating and perfecting the customer experience before the operational processes begins. There is a requirement for you to be available during the summer period.
80 % on-the-job training weekly to support the job role. 6 hours weekly off-the-job training to support the role and develop the apprentice’s personal and professional skills. ( The off-the-job training is delivered mainly in the workplace; to include half day monthly workshops with the training provider that can be virtual.)
You will work towards achievement of the Level 3 Business Admin Standard and other modules related to the apprenticeship.
Online learning modules and workshops to support you to develop the underpinning knowledge required for the job role.
The company would expect to offer a permanent post of Administrative Assistant to the Manager on successful completion of apprenticeship.
