Financial Apprentice

Come and join a successful Finance Team!

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic person to work alongside the finance team. We will train you on account systems and processes, and work on your general business skills.

KEY TASKS

You will support in the following tasks

• Accounts
• Match, batch purchase order, invoices on a regular basis by months.
• Update Day Book, do Bank Reconciliation monthly.
• Maintain petty cash tin, reconcile petty cash monthly, and process journals.
• Produce sales invoices.
• Process sales receipts and purchase payments
• Implement BACS transactions.
• Deal with queries when necessary

Data Input

• To support in data input on PICS and Sage

Reception

• Provide customer service via telephone/reception.
• To do Word Processing/Spreadsheets
• Process and receive emails, maintain own email account.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Level 2 Accounts or finance assistant Apprenticeship
• Level 2 Functional Skills Maths & English (If required) 
• Qualification delivered in the workplace & offsite at an external centre

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• Progression and higher-level training for the right candidate.
