The IT Support Department at the Big Education Trust is a busy and
lively department supporting every aspect of the Trust’s schools use of
technology to enhance education.

To provide first line support to students and staff for hardware, software, audio visual, photocopiers and online services.
To assist students and staff with technical issues with devices and provide solutions.
To assist with the creations of user accounts, manage permission and passwords.
To submit and track insurance

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Standard Level 3, which includes: Functional skills in maths, English and ICT (if required)

You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Over 90% of our Apprentices move on to permanent full-time employment in the tech industry. There are also opportunities to extend your training with a higher-level Apprenticeship programme. Just IT have already helped over 1000 people start their tech and digital careers with an Apprenticeship.
