Shaw & Whitley Pre-School are looking appoint an early years apprentice to work with the team & take on day to day duties as required. We pride ourselves on our fun, stimulating & friendly environment that nurtures happy, contented individuals who are supported & encouraged to develop to their full potential through our dedicated & caring staff.

Duties will include:

Working with all the children in the setting
Helping with washing hands etc.
Preparing and providing activities
Playing board games
Doing craft with the children
Helping to set up the room and clearing away
Helping at lunch time
Helping to keep the children safe when outside in the garden

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
Functional Skills in English and maths if required
End Point Assessment – Knowledge Test and Professional Discussion

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Permanent employment if suitable and available.
