A LIAS (Librarian, Information & Archive Services) Assistant will help users find information and resources they need in order to resolve specific queries. User needs may vary and could include finding textbooks to support their learning; legal materials to support law activities and many more.
These tasks serve to indicate the range of duties and level of responsibilities involved.
It is not exhaustive, and it is not intended that every Librarian Apprentice will undertake the full range of tasks.
The right candidate may be offered a permanent position after completion of the apprenticeship.
