We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys nurturing the children through their interests & teaching them life skills. You will join us on walks around the village capturing their interests through local sights & sounds. You will develop your creative skills through planning & carrying out new activities for the children each day.

To have knowledge of, and the ability to provide learning across the EYFS
To support the children and display the skills and behaviours to promote safeguarding in young children
To work alongside a team toward an outstanding inspection
Have strong relationships with the children, staff and families
Following children’s daily routines
Forward plan activities for the children’s interests

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Qualification
This training will be conducted primarily at the employer’s site
The performance coach for this area will visit the learner every 8-12 weeks but the learner will be expected to submit work in between this time

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To continue with your development and progress up the ladder within the nursery, opportunities to do level 3 and 5 and further once qualified

Things to consider

Must be willing to have an enhanced DBS carried out.
We are in a village which does not have many buses therefore transport would be required.
