Retail Degree Apprentice Degree Level 6/7 (Degree with honours/Masters)

Our 3-year Retail Degree Apprenticeship based in England, and 4-year programme in Scotland allows you to work towards a degree while preparing for a brilliant management career within our unique food retail business. Not only do we pay any course fees, but you also earn a starting salary of £22,000!

Get an early taste of leadership by taking on responsibility for a team of colleagues within a department. Experience all areas of our stores, gaining an overview of its operation and helping to keep our stores running smoothly.

Day-to-day tasks that you will be responsible for could include:

• Ensuring the store is set up to the best standard to drive sales and continue delivering a great customer experience
• Spending time with other colleagues to understand each area of our stores and the part they play
• Supporting live business projects to develop project management skills
• Learning about our store trading operations and systems

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• As well as learning on-the-job, if in England, you’ll also be studying towards a BSc (Hons) Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship at University of Bradford, or a BA (Hons) Business Management Degree Apprenticeship with University of Strathclyde if in Scotland
• Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we’ll offer study leave to complete university work stress free

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• At the end of the scheme, you’ll have built the experiences and skills needed to be a future store manager and will have gained a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute for England only)
