As an apprentice, you will be on a development plan and a career mentor to help your progression throughout your apprenticeship. We offer our apprentices a competitive salary, 20 days annual leave, work social nights. You will assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures, such as bridges, culverts, railway stations, power stations, etc, work within a larger team on construction projects and interpret contract information, drawings and specifications, in order to assemble and install the components correctly.

Level 2 Steel Fixer apprenticeship standard:
The successful applicant will be enrolled on to the CITB Steel fixing apprenticeship. The apprenticeship start date is the end of October 2023, this standard is delivered via block release
You will work on one of our ‘live’ projects and receive training from a recognised provider either one day a week or on a block release.
English and maths qualifications form a mandatory part of all apprenticeships and must be completed before an apprentice can pass through gateway.
Once you have achieved the Level 2 qualification you will have the opportunity to progress on to the next level. Ultimately and depending on the individual, you could advance to a supervisory or management role within the construction industry.
